These General Terms and Conditions of Use and Contracting (hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”) apply to all Users. Browsing the Website implies the understanding, agreement, and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by its Customers. If the Customer does not agree with the Terms and Conditions, they should leave the Website.

The domain www.PAIR.pt is registered under the “Regulation of the registration of domains/subdomains of .PT,” and is the exclusive property of Pair – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda., NIPC 517 288 940, located at Rua Gomes Leal 10, 1000-164, registered in the Commercial Registry of Lisbon with a share capital of €5,000.00 (five thousand euros). Customer Obligations

The Customer commits to comply with and respect these Terms and Conditions, including, but not limited to, adopting the following behaviors:
  • Read and fully understand these Terms and Conditions.
  • Not violate these Terms and Conditions.
  • Ensure they have all the legal rights and faculties necessary to acquire the products ordered through this Website.
  • Refrain from introducing, storing, or disseminating defamatory, obscene, injurious, xenophobic, and/or any other content that violates the law, general principles of law, and public order.
  • Not use false identities.
  • Refrain from introducing links on this site, regardless of the intended purpose, without prior authorization from the entity that owns it. The abusive use of the domain www.pair.pt, without prior authorization, is subject to legal action by PAIR – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda.
  • Not create or use any technological tools or measures, whether through computer programming or the use of pre-existing software, such as viruses, spyware, malware, rookits, trojans, or ransomware, intended or capable of interrupting, destroying, limiting functionality, or exploiting any computer vulnerability of the Website, any computer system or communications equipment.

Customers are expressly prohibited from transmitting injurious, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or information that violates the right to privacy or intellectual or industrial property of third parties, as well as providing any information that may be harmful to third parties or to the website owner. PAIR – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda. reserves the right to delete the Customer’s account in cases of any of these situations. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data communicated to PAIR – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda. and commits to update any changes to their registration account on www.PAIR.pt.  

Website Owner’s Responsibility

All services marketed through the Website comply with the applicable Portuguese legislation. PAIR – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda. is not responsible for any damages resulting from interferences, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions, or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily prevent access, navigation, or the provision of services to Website Customers. PAIR – Process Analytics & Intelligence Research, Lda. may, at any time and without prior notice, take the necessary measures to ensure the integrity, security, continuity, or quality of the Website, including removing content, restrictions, or access limitations.

Conflict Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the Customer can resort to one of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Entities (ADR) authorized to promote the resolution of consumer disputes in Portugal through an ADR procedure. Additionally, you may also choose to resort to the Electronic Platform for Alternative Dispute Resolution in online sales or service contracts provided by the European Commission, available here. Furthermore, you may also file a complaint in the Electronic Complaints Book via the link on the Website. The dispute can also be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.  

Applicable Law

Without prejudice to any mandatory rules that apply, all purchases made on the Website are subject to Portuguese law. Any conflict or difference in the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be resolved, in the first instance, through the interpretation of their content.
